Eric J. Boyer

I am an Associate Professor in the Master of Public Administration Program at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP).  My research and teaching interests center on the topic of cross-sector collaboration.  Specifically, I am interested in the ways that citizens can be engaged in the development of public-private collaborations (public involvement in collaboration), as well as the informal ways that public and nonprofit leaders coordinate inter-organizational action in international development and disaster management (collaborative leadership).

My PhD is from the Tratchtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration, my MPA is from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, and my BA is from St. Michael's College.
